Turn manual work into software that runs.

Before you hire, buy another tool or start an AI project, know what to build, what it will cost and what it will change. I help companies turn the processes that no longer keep up into reliable software, from the first audit to production.

For companies

Fix the process that's stopped keeping up

Start with a fixed-price audit: what to automate, what not, and the smallest system that fixes it. Then build, ship and run it.

Build the engineering judgment AI can't provide

Audit. Build. Ship.

Most companies don't need another AI prototype. They need the right process turned into a reliable system. Each step has a fixed scope and price, and you can stop after any of them.

Illustration: before the audit, a tangle of emails, copy-paste and manual checks; after the one-week audit, a clear flow from capture to approval to notification.
  1. Scope First AuditMap one process and design the smallest system that fixes it. €1,500 fixed, one week.
  2. BuildYour team builds it, we build it together, or I build it. Quoted in the proposal.
  3. Ship & runDeployed and documented, with monitoring sized to the system and an optional retainer.

Bob Belderbos

I'm Bob Belderbos.

I've been building production software since 2006, much of it automation: 13 years on critical production environments at Sun Microsystems and Oracle, then co-founding Pybites in 2016 and running its Python and Rust coding platforms in production since.

Today I help companies turn manual processes into reliable software, and coach developers to make the same engineering calls themselves.

Build the judgment AI can't provide

Coaching, cohorts and practical engineering education for developers who want to understand the systems they build, not just generate code.

What I've built and shipped

20 years of production software, from enterprise systems to my own platforms.

Illustration: before, an engineer spends half an hour reading raw logs; after, tested code produces the diagnosis and around 40% of calls are resolved automatically.

Sun Microsystems & Oracle

13 years, 2007 to 2020, in critical production environments, around eight of them focused on support automation. One team initiative automated the resolution of around 40% of incoming x86 support calls, significantly reducing resolution times, improving customer satisfaction, and delivering substantial cost savings.

Pybites Platforms

Python and Rust coding platforms I co-founded and have run in production for years. The first version of the Python one was tightly scoped around one job: solving exercises.

AI prototype → production SaaS

Luca had an AI-built proof of concept he couldn't validate alone. We worked through Django settings, payment security and a testing strategy, and he shipped to production with confidence.
